LVA Pty Ltd is an Australian company that developed the Longwall Visual Analysis (LVA) software in 2006. From the beginning, our goal has been to create an intuitive, feature-rich platform that operates independently of OEM systems and supports a wide range of departments and roles across the mining sector.
Developed in collaboration with industry professionals, LVA has grown to become the standard across nearly all Australian longwall operations, with previous installations also in the USA and South Africa. The software is widely used by consultants to analyse client longwall data and has recently been adopted as a teaching tool for mining engineers at the University of Queensland.
As a small, agile company, we pride ourselves on being accessible and responsive. We work closely with our users to ensure they get the most out of LVA. In fact, the majority of our features have been developed based on direct customer feedback—ensuring the software continues to evolve in line with real-world needs.
Here are some reasons.
We are an independent software company dedicated to developing powerful, easy-to-use, and affordable solutions for longwall mining operations. Known for our reliability and responsiveness, we take pride in building long-term relationships and earning the respect of our customers across the industry.
Work directly with the people who build and support the software.
We're a small, dedicated team—no layers, no call centres—just knowledgeable professionals who understand your needs and are here to help.
Efficient by design—cost-effective for you.
Our low overheads mean we can offer high-quality software at a more affordable price, passing the savings directly on to you.
Flexible solutions tailored to your needs.
We're happy to customise our software to suit your specific requirements and operational goals.
